Mrs. María Cristina Isoba, Director of Research and Road Education, and Mr. Alberto Silveira, President of this Association, were invited to participate in the workshop “Evaluation of Road Safety Interventions: Key Component of the Global Decade of Action”, that was organized by The Road Traffic Injuries Research Network (RTIRN) with financial support from Global Road Safety Fund and the Johns Hopkins International Injury Research Unit, for the South American region. This workshop was about monitoring and evaluation of different activities related to the UN Decade of Action for Road Safety in South America and other low and middle income countries. The workshop was held in Curitiba, Brazil on February 26th-27th, 2013, where both authorities of this Association participated.
