Luchemos por la Vida 32th Anniversary

More than three decades have gone by in this sustained and continuous effort to achieve the utopia of no more people dying in traffic.Several actions have been carried out to reach the entire community and the authorities throughout the country. Awareness campaigns on television, radio and other audiovisual media, which up to now reach all over the country and other countries of the region; this year, with the campaign "Dale al Peatón su Prioridad" ("Give Pedestrian its Priority!"). Educational programs in schools for children and young people and online courses, training courses for teachers, municipalities and companies, and the production of videos and other didactic content. Studies, statistics and research, proposals for legislation, constant updating and continuous interaction with international organizations and NGOs, and permanent interaction with social networks, such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, to mention just some of the paths taken in these years of intense activity to learn, to share successful experiences, and also, it must be said, facing some frustrations.

Some positive changes have been achieved during these years in Argentina, from the beginnings, when placing the problem of road safety in media agenda and in national politics was the challenge, to the present with encouraging initiatives at different levels, but an excessively slow inertia, has taken its toll in human lives. However, we can be optimist, since we know that many lives have been saved with the efforts made in these 32 years in our country. But the struggle continues until we achieve the utopia of no more avoidable deaths in traffic.

Thanks to all the media, journalists, sponsors, volunteers and collaborators who have joined this effort during this long time. They understood that, beyond the government's responsibilities, this is everyone's problem, and together we can solve it.

Thank you very much!  Luchemos keeps fighting for life!
